Jacques Marie Mage KUROKAWA sculptural aviator sunglasses from the Kyosho Collection, Beluga colorway, side view — carried at Gazal Eyecare in Roswell, GA

A sculptural aviator that blurs the boundary between architecture and art, the Kurokawa stands in homage to the imagination of its namesake, Kisho Kurokawa.

From the Kyosho Collection, this limited edition release reflects Jacques Marie Mage's ongoing passion for craft, culture, and form.

Merging '60s-era aviation style with modernist precision, the frame design is anchored by its distinctive columnar bridge. The shield lens design and hairline-engraved Art Deco accents evoke both movement and restraint, resulting in a presence that feels at once vintage and timeless.

Constructed from plant-based acetate and custom polished metal, the frame is distinguished by its monoblock hinge, engineered for both function and elegance. The temples feature a polished arrow motif, framed within hand-painted epoxy inlays — a subtle yet unmistakable mark of JMM's artistry.

Limited in production, the Kurokawa arrives housed in the brand's signature Bordeaux Empire monograph box, accompanied by a leather case, a dual-sided microfiber cloth, and a numbered certificate printed on archival washi paper.
